Over the years, my passion for filmmaking developed from writing stories as a child and picking up a camera at the age of fifteen. I have written and directed many short films, and I've assisted in various roles on many collaborators' films. My successes as a filmmaker include my short film "Framed" being accepted into the 2014 Victoria Film Festival, working as the cinematographer on Michael Chen's short film "The Moon and The Stars" which screened at the Whistler Film Festival in 2016, and my short comedy "Princess Syndrome" premiering at the 2018 Vancouver Island Short Film Festival.
Along with being Executive Director of the the Hub City Cinema Society, I'm also mentor of the Spotlight Academy Teens Film Camps, and I've been an organizer for the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival. Amongst everything I do, I also run my motion picture production company Tannar Pictures creating video content for businesses and artists, and I produce comedy sketches with my amigos of PLAUGH Comedy.
